External and internal updates
From the outside the shape of the front part has been slightly reworked in addition to the grille. The luminescent arrangement inside the headlights has also been rearranged. In addition, the light bar that intersects the grille will be located at the bottom and is present in some versions . So it will be possible to distinguish new models by this new light signature. In profile, the bodywork line will remain the same. At the back, the changes are more present. So that the area between the bottom of the frame and the bottom of the bumper was redesigned. And the taillights were equipped with a new light signature and a design that crosses the tailgate from side to side.
Inside, more significant changes have taken place. Kia has decided to add a fully digital instrument panel to some versions of the new Kia celtus 2024. The panoramic dashboard will include two 10.25-inch screens, one in front of the driver for devices, the other for the infotainment system. Unfortunately, this feature will be optional. Thus, the basic versions will be equipped with an 8-inch display for the infotainment system and will contain a simple 4.2-inch display for counters to replace the currently offered 3.5-inch display.
Mechanics updates
Like its big counterparts in the Kia family, the Kia seltos 2024 Kia Seltos will also receive the X-Line version for 2024. This new version will bring some aesthetic changes such as exclusive 18-inch wheels, a black bridge-type roof rack, X-Line logos, and a mesh design painted exclusively in bronze.
The return of the engine on the Kia celtus 2023 model is noted. It is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a power of 146 horsepower and equipped with a CVT variable transmission for entry-level and mid-range versions . It will always be possible to combine this engine with all-wheel drive or traction, depending on the chosen version. The 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with a turbocharger also returned, but this time it underwent a major overhaul. This revision allows to gain an additional 20 horsepower, which increases the output to 195 horsepower for the new model 2024. In addition, from here on the turbocharged engine will be paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, replacing the previous 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
New features
In terms of modern technologies, the SX version of the Kia seltos Kia Seltos 2024 will provide for the possibility of a digital key with a specific set of options. This will allow drivers to use their compatible smart device as a virtual car key to lock, unlock and drive. In addition, these keys can be shared with other people by SMS on available devices.
The Kia celtus 2024 is expected to hit the market in the first half of 2023. Prices have not yet been announced.
